Mfano 400kv kwa Tanzania inatokea jhhp kupitia central Tanzania to mwanza and kigoma , kwa point hiyo utahitaji vituo vichache vya kupozea na transformer kubwa kwa ajili ya distribution network . Ndo maana nyinyi mna km nyingi sana za 66kv kuliko Tanzania sababu inawabidi na mnezicategorize kama distribution network .
Mind you a 400 kv transmission line Inaweza transport mpaka umeme wa 1500mw ikiwa single circuit na ikiwa double Inaweza fikia 3000( sababu kuna another dam (. From Dodoma to tabora kuna double ( sababu ya mtera dam) circuit ikiwa na maana network Inaweza beba mpaka 3000 mw same kwenye distribution networks ambayo nayo Iko applicable kwa Tanzania.

The high perfomance of President John Magufuli in developmental projects has made Tanzania to scoop the first position in the continent in rural electrification, Africa’s Power Journal (ESI AFRICA) has published.

According to ESI AFRICA – Africa’s leading power and energy journal, Nigeria was the leading country by 72%, but Tanzania has now taken the lead in the continent by reaching more than 74% rural electrification.

The ESI AFRICA states that total of 9,001 villages in the country have been connected; of these 3,559 villages were connected through the first round of Phase Three Rural Electrification Project (REA III-1), which is ongoing.
