First and foremost, KETRACO is a state corporation owned 100% by the government of Kenya, just like other state corporations. It is the ONLY company in Kenya mandated to transmit high voltage electricity in the country. Where did you read that the government only owns 37% of KETRACO?

Secondly, about existing transmission infrastructure, while you floss about Tanzania having 64 substations, I would like to remind you that Kenya has 83 high and medium voltage transmission substations and approximately 52 primary/distribution substations. That's a total of 135 substations (more than twice your number)🤣🤣.

I don't want to go into much details here but kitu mnafaa kujua ni kwamba we are way ahead of you in this sector.
