good response.. I can understand that point of view, forget the apartments. I’m talking about villas. people could own their land, same case here, doesn’t mean they cannot buy a villa in an estate, not necessary to live in but for investment. Same case to apartments. In Tz people have their own plots na wanawekeza humo only a few ndio wananunua apartments na pili it is even more prudent to build on your own plot than buying a costly apartment. Bei ya apartment moja you can build two modern villas in Tz provided you have your own piece of land and truthfully speaking even me I am not in favour of buying apartments.
No pun but which Dar ?.. some parts yes but 80% is still Uswazi or as you call it these days , “your own plots”..😋… I am sure you know that .Dar is already modernised
Right now, we are just doing further modernisation
You repeatedly express victim mentality, i wonder if you do the same in real life
Bro what does modernized mean to you, this?Dar is already modernised
Right now, we are just doing further modernisation
At least it's ten times better than thisBro what does modernized mean to you, this?View attachment 3518834
Dar es Salaam is modernized and growing very fast, you keep saying 80% of Dar is uswazi, but you know it's not trueNo pun but which Dar ?.. some parts yes but 80% is still Uswazi or as you call it these days , “your own plots”..😋… I am sure you know that .
Don't twist my observation. Land is plenty in Tz anyone can own a plot unlike Kenya land is owned by the rich and politicians so it make perfect sense to buy apartments in Dar we build our own houses mostly.good response.. In short you are implying that the culture of property buying hasn’t caught up in Daresaalam yet.
now we could argue why, is it just preference or the purchasing power is still a factor.
The fact that you mentioned that it’s expensive to buy an apartment -and it doesn’t make financial sense for you to even consider it, then it shows you that it’s the purchasing power which mwaiofhawaii is talking about.
Coz who said its cheap in Nairobi
What a laaaaame excuse!Hivi mbona mnapenda kuropoka? Kawe city ndio ipi? 7-11? Nani alikwambia imefeli kwasababu imekisa buyers? Magufuli ndio alisimamisha ile project kwa sababu anazozijua yeye. Na sasa hivi karibu inamalizika. Acheni ujuaji kwenye vitu msivyovojua.
Where in my reply have I said it's affordable housing? Hapo ndio kujifariji au?Ndio maana nawaita wapumbavu. Mnapenda kuzungumzia msiyoyajua. Mnachujua tu tweets za wajinga wenzenu . Kwanza hizo sio affordable houses. Pili mradi ulisimama kwasababu anazozijua Magufuli na sasa hivi zinaisha.
Mzizima nayo pia haijaisha? 🤣🤣🤣🤣Hii na hile Mzizima Tower. Mzizima Kwanza walianza kujenga 2013 lakini Hadi WA Leo haijaisha.
Ni wapi umesikia watu hawana plots? In Tz people have their own plots na wanawekeza humo only a few ndio wananunua apartments na pili it is even more prudent to build on your own plot than buying a costly apartment. Dude talks like he forgot we know how their residential areas look like. And when he mentioned villas, I couldn't hold back my laughter.Sounds like something a rural Kenyan would say. Please show us those Dar plots and their self development. I hope you are referring to the so called dream houses …You really have a long way to go to modernize your country and now I know why private investors shun Dar .
