Haha funny how you bring up Qatar as a comparison, you probably didn’t think it through. Qatar built 8 mega stadiums for a World Cup event!(excluding the ones that existed) Qatar is a Country of 3million vs Nairobi’s population of 5million.
Don’t you think It’s more difficult to fill up a 30k seater in the middle of nowhere within a small town of 600,000 people, as compared to filling up a 60k seater in the middle of a rapidly growing metropolis (nearing a cosmopolis btw)
Did you consider how much demand there is for such infrastructure in Nairobi?
Heck we’re behind in getting such and we probably need another modern 30k seater As well as a big indoor arena just to meet the demand, we don’t need to be hosting matches in a foreign country anymore, we’ve had enough embarrassments.

Do you know what happend to qatar stadiums? And if there was that need why wait till afcon? And you can even fill 60k stadium at the bush if football business is thriving, for example Mwanza has a stadium(CCM KIRUMBA) around 40k although its an old stadium but has always taken full house when matches are played there

What am saying is, you only construct per the need not to bring attention, have you seen kasarani how it looks recently?

This was a honest non-biased opinion as I am looking forward for the 3 countries to successfully host the event, but kama kawaida umeona unitusi. If Tanzania or any of us fail to deliver, then we will all be a laughing stock to other regions and worldwide, do you think they will credit one of us??
And fyi its only Uganda that can start beating their chest as of now because hao washajiandaa tayari.

What i surely know is there is no any nation that gives people free money, whatever the gdp might sound for any nation is doesnt help if amnot part of it,

😅😅 wait so i just take your word for it that CC Kirumba is usually full-house..
You seem to have read-past my point that we were already running below demand to a point we had to host matches at a foreign country.
Btw is that a stadium really ama ni slabs tu, what kind of maintenance does it need kando ya kukata nyasi? Hata kuajiri watchman huku ni hasara, anachunga slab?

You cant sign an international player and let him.play there, Tanzania league is the biggest in east and central such playimg fields are a shame to modern football hence itsnot used anymore, however my question is have u seen what happend to qatar stadiums? Does it look anyhow close to whats happening in nairobi?

And yes ccm kirumba takes full house because of the need, so constructing a new modern stadium of the same size there makes sense, you can construct any mid size stadium anywhere in tz and it can take full house, but lets look at nairobi, is there really a need of such a stadium? Can kenya clubs really make it?
