Iran since the first Gulf war has a contingency plan for the straight. They know they can use it as a bargaining chip. Unfortunately for them , the largest naval base in the world is located next door in Bahrain ( US Navy 5th Fleet base headquarters ). It was built there purposely to protect the straight of Hormuz . So whatever Iran does , it will be just a matter of days before normalcy is restored . You don’t wanna know the kind of US naval nuclear submarines under the Persian gulf waters.Fingers crossed they keep the straight open! If not, we might see oil prices do a little dance past the $100 mark. And trust me, it won’t be a pretty sight—more like a horror movie where you’re paying $10 a gallon at the pump! Let’s hope we can avoid that sequel!
The price is $74.4 as of today, tomorrow when the market opens, it'll shoot up, I'll remind you of this in the next 20hrs.
