They also have fridges where they store their perishables. Only poor people buy stuff in tiny quantities when they want to use them. Here in Kenya we call that kind of lifestyle 'kadogo economy' Yani economy ya wadogo wasiojiweza. It's clear you are a poor man.

Where does a poor man get money to spend on a daily basis?
I can be here, there or anywhere any any given time and day. Sherere ni kila siku Tanzania na karibia kila week unajikuta uko kwenye minuso mara zaidi ya 3.

Arusi: Kuna kitchen party, sendoff, wedding celebration, inner party. Hapo ni kuanzia alhamisi mpaka jumatatu, watu ni kula na kunywa tu.

Picha hizi hapa chini ni harusi South Africa, hata masikini Tanzania hawana harasi za kichovu namna hii. Kwa kweli Tanzania tumebarikiwa sana na utamaduni wetu wa kushikana mikono na kuinuana kufanikisha mavituzi ya nguvu. Wajinga wengi wakija Tanzania na kuona life letu wanakubali sana na wakiudhuria harusi zetu, sio poa.

It's called kadogo economy here in Kenya. Yani you are living from hand to mouth. In short, the little that you get everyday you spend it on your daily needs, mostly food. Such people usually buy in small quanties but almost on a daily basis because they don't have money to do bulk buying. Usijifanye hujui hizi vitu bongolala.
