boss, japan was nuked twice to put the fear of God into them incase they think about going against the americans....they have zero autonomy to determine their own values or to determine their own independent foreign policy. Korea was bombed(war) and divided up and south korea became a welfare state totally dependent and subservient to the americans. samething applies to taiwan. Being a friend of the usa means that you have to serve them toward whatever goal they want.....Israel is stolen land so lets not go there.
why do you think these americans are quick to give us free weapons? who are fighting? is that anywhere near the top of our priorities? in the meantime they do not want to fast track the trade deal that between kenya and the usa which is collecting dust somewhere in the state department.
let me save you the arguments, time and energy. i do not subscribe to the idea that a country has to be subservient to anyone to become developed and i also dont think that the americans and the west are the good guys or the lesser evil.
i have zero problem with aligning with anyone based on equality and mutual respect but the west and americans have shown themselves several times that they neither respect africans nor view us as equals.
