@KOSUGI…Today I will educate you… am an American 🇺🇸 citizen so I have credibility in what I say….. The homelessness issue is being derived by influx of illegal/undocumented immigrants… almost 10 million of them in last 3 years… last month, the largest group was Chinese and they keep coming from China and all over the world…. It’s now the number one issue for voters in the upcoming presidential election… and Trump is using it as a comeback….. But for regular residents and citizens, homelessness is not an issue in the US … you can only be homeless by choice… and some like addicts choose to…or sometimes mental problems…There are mainly 2 ways to get assistance… you can apply what we call section 8 government housing whereby the taxpayers subsidize your rent or pay for you in full depending on your income threshold…. Secondly there are homeless shelters in every city and town… you just show up and they offer you a spot and feed you too… also there are several non governmental organizations that cater for such causes like tunnel to tower group or wounded warrior project … both provide free new houses for veterans of wars , injured or widows of fallen heroes either Police, firefighters and military…so don’t fall for the propaganda.. again I repeat, if you are an American, homelessness is by choice ... America is rich my friend….
