We are there for special interest beyond M23 shenanigans….. that’s why we are not leaving any time soon…. If you notice we are based on strategic positions where we can farther our mutual interests with DRC based on the agreement between Tshisekendi and Uhuru…I also believe Kenya is doing bid for powerful players including the US…

Let the SADC do the heavy lifting......congo is an extremely complex situation....needs a third and forth eye to understand half the issue. Only congo can help themselves.....not worth our soldiers lives...plus the ungrateful Congolese have been very hostile to our soldiers and had it not been for Kenya Goma city would be gone to the dogs...

Tanzania went into combat with m23 and lost 16 soldiers......but m23 is still going strong....combat is just so archaic in Congo long term strategy.... Let part of Eastern congo be hived off for the tutsi nation..

M23 were matching towards Goma and Kagame people warned them to reconsider unless they wanted to sign their own death sentence….Kagame knows KDF capabilities… M23 cannot survive strategically and prosper without Goma and especially the Airport, the getaway point for the billion dollar precious mineral industry…..meaning they have to use the Kigali route therefore exposing the trade to international observers…KDF is a thorn in their flesh… that’s why they are inciting the masses against Kenya with threats ….. the problem is we have a small batch of soldiers on the ground… a mare single battalion…. You need more boots on the ground for the task… but i agree it might not be worth it… just protect the strategic importance places for our mutual National interest….
