CCM is an authoritarian party since indepedence with 90% of parliament. The party controls every aspect of Tanzanians life including media, sports, investment, business, entertainment, laws etc.... just like the Communist party in China.

Due to this authoritarianism, alternative voices are easily silenced and a perfect image of the state(CCM) has been built and indocrinated in the citizens mind for GENERATIONS until it becomes normal for a Tanzanian to never question the goverment.
