But Africa pia tuache blame game ya kulaumu the west for all our problems. Lets face our challenges head-on like the Chinese are doing. Our leaders are our main undoing in Africa even here in Kenya, nothing to do with the west.
Western countries like the United States, Singapore, UAE, Saudi, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait etc were also under colonial rule but have risen to become global giants in less than 50 years.
Some of this European countries in the past have had their populations dissipated by world wars, tribal and religious wars and other natural calamities which are worse than anything we have ever experienced here in Africa. Yet, they still rose to be world super powers in less than 50 years e.g. Russia, Germany, France etc.
me i think we Africans are just the last group to suffer oppressions and instead of learning our lessons and moving on, we are still stuck with the victim mentality. The Chinese were massacred by the Japanese less than a century ago and they have moved on to become a global superpower.

Difference ya Africa na these other countries ni different ethnicities and divided countries which are unique in many ways even culturally, hizi UAE, Russia, France, Saudi, Qatar, Kuwait, Singapore, USA etc in principle are more or less the same.., Arabic countries are defined by Islamic religion, which strongly informs their culture, thus they can easily agree to one thing as a whole. Singapore are one people, same characteristics like China and Korea; having strong cultural belief system, which partly informs their work culture, they are not divergent like Africa is, thus our basis or foundation is fractured, therefore can't easily hold a new ideology, we are likely to pull apart. The white man took advantage of it to even divide us further with borderlines separating countries and within the countries more borders to separate tribes so he can rule us, he left physically but ideologically he is holding Africa captive. Success is tied on principle than conduct. We need a paradigm shift in our mindset, an awakening to the reality of who we are as Africans beyond the limitations of our specific countries and ethnic backgrounds. A tall order, not easy.

The diversifies in Africa should be used to our own advantage like the US are doing. Bro Russians are so diverse you wont even believe it, there are russians in the far east who look like Chinese, yet they still adhere to each other norms,... its these many bogus reasons stuck in our heads that are limiting us to growth. Saying china and korea and japan are the same people is wrong. That's like saying Africa is the same because everybody is black.
Africa does not need any new ideology, in-fact Africa is the most religious continent and this religions aint even ours they are from the white people who don't practice them soo much like we do. we just need to stop corruption and manufacture our own things like the Chinese are doing. Trade with each other. Africa has everything it needs.

My focus is on principle, not conduct.., Japan, China, Singapore, Korea, with Arab Countries are totally different in outlook, language and culture (conduct), but in principle they are one and the same kama unanielewa. USA is unique as it is the representation of the whole world in one place, the original Americans are red Indians, the rest are immigrants from all over the world, whites are Europeans from Italy, France, UK Russia, pia in US utapata Jews, Arabs, Africans, Chinese, Koreans, Indians, Latinos etc and they subject themselves to American ideology of freedom (the land of the free and brave), u can do anything u love there without being harassed and become anything u want so long as it is within their laws, it has diverse people from all over the world, historically some were running from political persecutions and the like to start new life in America. They ended up building industries and businesses, thus prosperity, but ukichunguza kuna issues bado, we have enclaves of groups, US is a special case. Russia nimefika bro, those people are one in principle, they believe in their political ideology strongly wako tu kama Germans if u have interacted with them, and they are strongly Orthodox Christians, u cannot put them in the same sentence na Africans.

Africa needs to be awakened, if Africa could have embraced Nyerere's ideology of African nationalism and Kwame Nkrumah's ideology which he stipulated as the "ideology of a New Africa, independent and absolutely free from imperialism, organized on a continental scale, founded upon the conception of one and united Africa, drawing its strength from modern science and technology and from the traditional African belief that the free development of each is the condition for the free development of all" kama tungezingatia hizi, by now tungekua kama China or even far ahead.
