Verticality ni characteristic ya Capitalism - The bourgeois prefer being higher up whereas the proletariat occupy space horizontally, at the bottom.

China has managed to make its cities look like dystopian paradises, and you won’t ever see the poor realities that lie beyond their megapolis zones. I love that China builds plenty of housing, but because they are a communist led nation, they build to the extent that their projects are inefficient. There are many ghost cities in China- entire cities without people to reside in them. All because they think an image of vertical towers would make a developing country on par with its nemesis.
