Kwani nani kakuambia zilizopo ziko exhausted? Tununue tu Q400 wakati zilizopo haziko used to the capacity? Mi najiuliza kwanini uwanja wa Songwe zaidi ya miaka 10 haujakamilika kuruhusu flights kutoka SADC countries?

Plan iliyopo kwa sasa ni ya Air Tanzania kuwa na intercontinental aircraft (dreamliners n A350s) kutokana na mpango wa kwenda UK na baadae US! Dreamliner tatu zilizopo moaka 2023 hazitoshi ikiwa route ya Guangzhou inatarajiwa kuongeza frequency kama ya India! Pia kuna route za West Africa pia ambazo zitahitaji medium size aircraft kama Boeing 737 MAX 9s au A220-300.

Q400 zilizopo na inayokuja hazijazidiwa mpaka sasa! Unless unataka ziende ku-park! BTW hiyo route ya Songwe tu sidhani kama Airbus A220-300 itakuwa inaenda kila siku labda kama Songwe International Airport ingekuwa na regional flights kama ilivyokusudiwa wakati uwanja unajengwa!
