I have not followed this war much but from the little I have gathered online, Russia really underestimated the Ukrainian forces and didn't anticipate the kind of resistance and resilience Ukrainian forces have shown so far.

The Ukranians were no match for Russians had it not been assistance in terms of weapons and intelligence from the west they would have been wiped out long ago. All in all I do not support the war Putin is crazy and he needs to go.
