This year pekee Kenya imekuwa Africa research headquarters ya Microsoft, Visa na Google. Ikumbukwe IBM research centre pia ipo Nairobi kwa miaka kadhaa sasa.

i remember way back in 2003, kenya's gdp was only $14B and south africa was $180B. then the local media kbc would always keep saying, "SA's economy is more than ×14 tht of kenya..." we realy feared south africa then, they were like our small Gods, ..... then media would keep on saying tht, any country in africa that will not trade with SA, we be bound for doomness and fail, since SA constitute a half of the continent's total nominal gdp.!!

alass.! here we are now in 2022.! SA is only ×2.8times our size of gdp. ie. $110B vs $318B. infact rightnw it has been relegated to no.3 in africa from a very strong no.1 in 2004. a curse of having a blackman President , expect SA to fall even further.
never ever in my widest dream did i imagine that, we would one day be competing for worldclass companies like, Google, Microsoft, Visa Inc, IBM, Intel, Huawei, Toyota, Isuzu, Cocacola, CGTN, IMF, WorldBank and so on.. with such a great giant like South Africa...... atimaye mungu mwenyezi ametuonekania...

Yaani kuna wakati SA ilikuwa inatisha sana hapa Africa. Nchi zingine za Afrika zilikuwa utopolo tu. Headquarters ya kila kampuni ya Ulaya ilikuwa inakwenda SA. Zote ziliamini nchi moja tu Africa ndio inastahili kupata investments.
Lakini times have changed. Halafu Kenya kuvumbua Mpesa kulitupaisha sana. Jina la Kenya lilitangazwa dunia nzima kwa sababu ya Mpesa. SA wanashangaa walikosea wapi ila itabidi wazoee. Waafrika wengine hawalali.

Siku hizi wanachukia Knight Frank sana.., from 2019 to date wamewaumbua kwa report zao zote.., yaani sio vile walikua wakidhania. I was wondering how can they have great number ya millionaires na hai reflect in their banks? on average, middle class ya kenya is even way bigger, the reason banking sector ina flourish in comparison..,

Nigeria wanajiona wanaweza kushindana na Kenya kwenye mambo ya ICT. Lakini Visa, Microsoft na Google zote zimekimbilia Nairobi this month pekee 😁😂. Najua wanaskia kujiuwa. Nigeria hawapo level yetu likija kwenye mambo ya technology. Na ndio maana sisi ndio tuna-attract technology companies kubwa zote duniani. Hata Tiktok ikija Africa itafungua headquarters Nairobi.

It has been built and finished wakiangalia.., buildings pia zinajengwa wakishuhudia hadi kukamilika, GTC done and dusted as they watched, now Nairobi 88 inachangamkiwa, while Dar is almost stagnating.., nothing is getting finished, ata zile flyover walipost humu under construction in Dar, Expressway imekuja ikazipiku, T-Mall flyover nayo naona ikikamilika ahead ya any flyover under construction in Tz, na ilianza juzi tu baada ya zile zilizokua u/c in Dar. Now we move to the viaduct road from upperHill to CBD.., hapa hakuna battle I can tell! Wangoje SGR ya umeme tu wapigie kelele as they wait for 25 years or even more.
