Jubilee Govt surpasses 3 million title deeds pledge as President Kenyatta issues 7, 000 in Tharaka Nithi

MARIMANTI, Tharaka Nithi, 27 June 2017 (PSCU) – President Uhuru Kenyatta today issued 7,137 title deeds to Tharaka Nithi residents, bringing the total number of titles delivered by the Jubilee Government in the last four years to more than 3 million nationally in line with the pledge made to the people of Kenya.

President Kenyatta said the presentation of 7,137 titles including one for Tharaka Campus, a constituent college of the Chuka University, will be followed by another 13,000 which are ready for issuance in the county.

“We said we had a solution to the land problem and promised to deliver 3 million titles so that Kenyans get title deeds to effectively use their land to improve their lives,” President Kenyatta pointed out, saying he was glad that he has delivered that pledge.

He spoke at Marimanti as he took the Jubilee Party Manifesto to the people in the Jubilee stronghold of Tharaka Nithi, barely hours after it was formally launched in Nairobi last evening.

“Jubilee is a caring Government and we have proved it through the development we have implemented here and across the country,” President Kenyatta said.

He lambasted the opposition for trying to malign his administration’s development track record, saying the opposition leaders held senior positions in previous Governments but did nothing to improve the lives of Kenyans.

On infrastructure, President Kenyatta pointed out that Jubilee is the first Government to construct a tarmacked road in Tharaka Nithi County.

The national Government has invested more than Kshs 12 billion to improve the road network in the county.

The road projects are Ciakariga – Marimanti Gatunga 36 Kilometres at a cost of Kshs 1.9 billion, the 23 Kilometre Chogoria - Weru - Marima – Kiriani at a cost of Kshs 1 billion, the 30 Kilometre St. Mary's - Kinoro - Chuka boys Igoji teachers and Kanyakine access roads at a cost of Kshs 2.3 billion, and the 23 Kilometre access road to Chuka University that is being constructed at the cost of Kshs 1.2 billion.

The Government has also invested Kshs 6.7 billion in the Keria-Kathwana road, a 32 Kilometre road that is at procurement stage and will ease the transportation of people and goods, transforming the lives of residents in the county once completed.

President Kenyatta – who was accompanied by Deputy President William Ruto – also spoke on water supply where he assured that one of the 57 mega dams his administration plans to construct will be in Tharaka Nithi to alleviate the water shortage in the county.

“We have allocated Kshs 25 billion for the Tharaka dam that will supply enough water for domestic consumption and irrigation in the whole county,” President Kenyatta announced.

Deputy President Ruto called on Tharaka residents to embrace a six-piece voting pattern in favour of Jubilee, saying the party has delivered on its pledges.

The Deputy President said unlike the opposition who have nothing to show for all the years its leaders held senior positions in previous regimes, the Jubilee administration’s development track record in the last four years is open for all to see.

He cited the national Government's investment of Kshs 810 million to provide state-of-the-art medical equipment to Chuka Level 5 Hospital and Tharaka Level 4 Hospital through the Managed Equipment Services (MES) project as some of the initiatives that have transformed the lives of the people.

“This has brought specialised health care services closer to you. This and other initiatives that are improving your lives are the reason why we ask you to vote for the Jubilee team that is focused on development and prosperity for all Kenyans,” the Deputy President said.

Under the project, Chuka Level 5 Hospital and Tharaka Level 4 Hospital received theatre, sterilization and surgical sets, dialysis machines and digital imaging equipment at a cost of Kshs 430 and Kshs 380 million respectively.

The President and his deputy were accompanied on the campaign trail by Senate Majority Leader Kindiki Kithure, National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi and Jubilee gubernatorial aspirant Muthomi Njuki among other leaders from the county.

According to the president they have issued 3 million title deeds to Kenyans, the government in its parts also own huge tracks of land not just only individuals, na wanapeana for free

Well if that makes you get some sleep ni sawa pia, I can see the only people you think of are politicians and businessmen but do you think employed people earn peanuts, have you thought about people working for Banks, Ngo's, Civil servants, Farmers, Lawyers, Pilots, IT developers, CEO's, MD's?
Ndio ukweli kaka kwenye ukweli tuseme japo unauma hakuna common people nairobi ata afford pesa ya kununu land au house
Kwa politicians na businessmen ntakkubali

But kuna mtu ako employed analipwa more than a businessman, a businessman can be earning 20, 000 a month while an employed person can go to an excess of kes.1million, hata mchoma mahindi ni businessman, cant you think beyond that small box you've put yourself into?

Kwanza unaelewa napozungumza kuhusu common people??????
Na nimesema businessmen wakisawasawa yamaanisha businessman mkubwa

sasa ndio maana nilikwambia hamuna uhuru na ardhi yenu, tanzania mtu anajenga house of his/her dream
na hizo houses ngumu sana mkenya ku afford kununua tusidanganyane hapa, ikiwa ardhi ngumu nyumba itakuaje??
Inaitwa order. City planning. Acha kuwa mshamba hivo, huwezi enda kwenye estate alafu ukaanze kujenga 1,2,3 bedroom rental aparments za ghorofa... You have to be orderly thats why it looks neat, well arranged.
The houses that look alike are constructed by a real estate company like KENPAULITE mentioned, Suraya Properties and then they sell on profit. You really should watch these property shows at the weekend, tune to KTN or NTV to know how stuff is done.

utakuwa umefanya jambo la busara sana.

niwe tu mkweli, mkenya peke ambaye sometimes huwa anasifia mazuri ya tz ni MK254.nyinyi wengine labda mnasifia kimya kimya rohoni mwenu.

Well then this is where tunasema kama wewe ni common, you should work towards being uncommon ama uwe businessman, I believe hata uwe maskini wa kutupiwa ukimweka Mungu mbele kesho utakua tajiri kwa mapenzi ya mwenyezi mungu, that means we all can move from being poor to being rich by acknowledging who gives wealth

Ndio maana nikasema hzo building ambazo ziko in same design zinamilikiwa na either investors au businessmen au politicians au mashirika ya serekali hapo watu wanaishia ku rents tu
Ila common people aweze ku afford ni ngumu tusidanganyane

lakini tanzania anyone in any level can buy a land and build a house of his dream, so long as cement and hardware materials are very very cheap
e.g a 50 kg in tz tunanunua 350 ksh inclusive vat of 18%
a 50 kg in kenya inauzwa 770 ksh..............umeona tofaut ilivo kubwa sana

sand in tanzania is almost free
aggregates as well while in kenya ni expensive sana tena sana

hatuwezi kua sawa😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀

In short unasema inaweza kugharimu pesa ngapi kununua land na kujenga

huo ni ukweli kabisa ......ndiyo maana hata nairobi ina vipara vingi sana yaani uwazi mwingi si kama hawapendi kujenga bali eneo kubwa linakuwa linamilikiwa na bepari mmoja
