The simple fact that it's only 32 kilometers makes it unreliable. Think about a person who lives ten or twenty kilometers from the Railway line. Will that person count on Dar's commuter railway?
What exactly makes you think that one has to walk 5 kilometers? Most places that are covered by the commuter railway do not have BRT which is good because it’s an alternative in the meantime before they finally construct BRT systems in those areas.
I think you’re forgetting the fact that unlike you we have two mass transportation systems! If our commuter railway covers 32km then we have additional BRT routes!

Both systems are in the same city and they serve the residents of the same city! Of course they are dependent. And just to inform you, our metro rail is designed to interlink Metro stations with BRT stations because we understand the importance of interconnecting our transportation systems.
