What's the total length of your commuter rail and how many lines does it serve? Also, can you share with us pictures of the stations if you don't mind?

Our commuter railway has been operational since 2012. We plan on connecting more areas in Dar Es salaam through a metro railway system. Here’s a map showing the existing commuter rail and the proposed metro rail.

Serikali ya majimbo inaweza peleka Tz kwa mwendo wa kasi, yaani economy will be Turbo charged! Looking at this, you are the one who should stick to your lane, sadly. How can you say that Dar has a better transport system than Nairobi when you are still talking in future tense? From that image above, I can see only two existing lines and the length is even shorter, not even coming close to what you already have in Nairobi. From this example alone, in what context then does Dar have a superior public transport system than Nairobi as you imply?

I am not attacking him. Stop your silly insinuations. I am only politely reminding that your commuter railway is way way behind Nairobi's. Nairobi's has a wider coverage, serves more lines and has better stations. Is this a lie?

BRT system serve
250k people per day

We have two mass transportation systems. Railway and BRT! These two are top tier public transport systems in major cities. You guys renovated your commuter railway recently, you still use matatus and think you can rival us 😂😂

This is embarrassing! As of 2020, your commuter railway covers 160 km, serves some 13000 people daily and it’s your main mass transportation system. Dar’s commuter railway covers 32 km and serves 16000 people daily. Our commuter railway is more efficient than yours and We still have BRT and normal buses (daladala). This proves that MOST nairobians use matatus!

That says it all. With fewer lines and even much fewer coverage inabeba watu wengi. The only logical answer is that mnafinywa ndani kama gunia za mahindi bora ufike Tandale. This beats the logic of calling it a better system than what Nairobi has
