I would understand if you would say you are using Geothermal energy or other sources you produce locally for your cars or houses, because that is what you produce locally, that means you will save your foreign currencies and increase jobs locally.

Tanzania we have very many areas where we can start harvesting Geothermal Energy, but we don't do so because we have alternative sources of hydroelectricity which is very cheap, why should we go for expensive source like Geothermal?, Kenya you don't have enough big rivers for Electricity production, that's why the only option you have is 1st Geothermal, wind and Solar, which are much far expensive than water.

I assure you that, when our Project is complete, Kenya will buy electricity from Tanzania instead using Geothermal sources because of price

As they r doing with power importation from Uganda while paying capacity charges for that 'tembo weupe Olkaria I & II' at the moment!
