In other words, does Tanzania have 'Counter-Espionage' unit? Or, which unit is responsible to counter economic espionage, for instance? Or as long as the president is safe, no more duties for them?

Heko Mosquito! Watu wanawalaumu UWT bila kuwapa msaada wa habari na kisa kuanza kulalama kwamba vitu havifanyiki. Pia si lazima unapotoa taarifa za kitu chochote ukatarajia kupata zawadi. Nguvu ya UWT yoyote duniani ni habari wala sio maguvu aidha na uwezo wa serikali iliyopo madarakani kutekeleza mapendekezo yao. Je kwetu haya yanafanyika? Wananchi wenye nchi yao wanawasaidia watu hawa kwa kuwapa habari? Serikali ya JK inawasikiliza? Je UWT wanawasomesha vijana wao elimu dunia (taaluma) ili ushauri wao uwe makini ktk fani husika na sio blabla? Tuendelee kuchangia

Hivi hao UWT wanahitaji msaada gani kujua kuwa:-
1.dili la radar ni kimeo?
2. Ndege ya raisi ni kimeo?
3. MIkataba inayosainiwa sasa ni kimeo?

Watu wanahasira na TISS kutakana na kutojulikana wanakazi ipi, wanafanyaje kazi, wako wapi (ndio sababu wanang'ang'ana na PSU kuliko TISS kwa ujumla wake), wanaajiri vipi. Lakini wahajui kuwa kazi (role) ya TISS kwa sekali ni ushauri tu. Ukiwa mshauri huwezi ku-implement unachofikiria kuwa ni muhimu. Aidha wanapoupuuzia ushauri kazi yako inakuwa ni namna ya kupunguza athaari ya kukataliwa kwa maamuzi yako. Plz someni sheria ya kuanzia TISS mtaona kazi yao

Naamini sio ushahuri tu, Kwa vyovyote inapobidi wanatakiwa kufanya hujuma kwa maslahi ya taifa. Ina maaa kama kuna shambulio linataka kufanywa dhidi ya kiongozi yeyote watakacho fanya ni kushahuri tu? Sikweli kwa vyovyote watafanya hujuma na wao dhidi ya mtuhumiwa.
Hivyohivyo wanatakiwa kufanya dhidi ya Mikataba mibovu.
Hivyohivyo dhidi ya wezi wa mali za umma.
na nirahisi sana maana kama ni mikataba basi wao wana expose kwa jamii naamini inatosha.

1. Does Tanzania have special unit for the protection of the President? (Presidential Protection Unit, PPU)?
Or is "Usalama wa Taifa" one big PPU?

2. Apart from PPU duties, does 'usalama wa taifa' have anything else THEY know they are supposed to be doing?

3. How do we gauge SUCCESS of those non-PPU duties?

PPU ni kitengo ndani ya TISS, ila inaonekana kana kwamba PPU inalipa kimtindo maana ukipangwa kumlinda muungwana duh posho kedekede na imprest kama bado zipo, ukiwa kwa maprezdaa wastaafu, washinda nao ndani mwanywa whisk na kahawa plus poshoz, hawa walinzi wala saaaaaaana tu

1. Read mikataba ya EAC?
2. If so, have they seen, read and understood the "Common Market Protocol"?
3. Don't they find it stiffling national security of Tanzania?
4. Don't they find it against the constitution?
5. Do they know they are the one's to stop dissolution of the Nation whose Security they are thought to be protecting?
6. What if the enemy of the nation's security is a Member of Parliament, Speaker, Ruling Party, Prime Minister or the President? Do they have any way of telling them that their decisions equal pressing the self-destruct button?
7. Do they see nation's security threat beyond PPU duties?

Usalama wa Taifa I think its more than PPU,but i think within their circles they know exactly how to react, and when to react, they cannot tell the wananchi what is behind the scene otherwise might jeopardize or compromise the nation security.What i think might be a good thought is to have a check and balance closed loop in the system the famous proficient back up systems

How do we know they have duties beyond being one mammoth PPU? How was EAC nightmare was possible, if Tanzania had "Usalama wa Taifa" that had duties beyond PPU? We don't want to know how they work, but from the outcomes of what happens in our country, it is safe to assume that either "Usalama wa Taifa" are not tasked with, er., 'usalama wa taifa', other than 'usalama wa watawala'; or if they are indeed tasked with usalama wa taifa beyond usalama wa watawala then for some reasons they are not paying attention to the usalama wa taifa duties that do not involve PPU tasks. If this is the case, it could be because they cannot differentiate between watawala, chama, serikali, taifa; as they confuse watawala, chama and serikali as to be taifa.

I hope they wake up and do their duties to keep Tanzania out of EAC.

Mlenge you have a point that's why I suggested to have closed loop system where national security organs military intelligence, civil intelligences and usalama wa taifa coordinate and share the gathered informations, valuate and act accordingly, but if the system is in place check and balance,valuation,research,training artificial intelligence,ammendments are inevitable. In short intelligence is capacity for learning, reasoning, understanding, and similar forms of mental activity; aptitude in grasping truths, relationships, facts, meanings, etc.
