Serikali ya Kenya imepitisha mtaala mpya ambao wanafunzi wa shule ya msingi na sekondari watafundishwa coding.
Halafu baadae turudi kukataa ukweli kwamba hawa wakenya likija suala la ubunifu katika teknolojia na startups wanatuzidi.
Sisi bado hatuko serious katika mambo mengi hata elimu yetu pia ndo inazidi kuharibika.

Secondary maybe..., Primary I doubt it..., ila haya mambo watoto wakiwa interested magwiji wengi ni self taught (ukiwa na interest kwenye haya mambo vitu vitajipa tu)

Primary kwanza tuhakikisha magazijuto tumezielewa

Why do you think it's not possible for primary?
From standard 4 onwards should be possible
Std 4 - Basics of Computers
Std 5- Basics of Python Language
Std 6 - writing Simple programs solving mathematical problems and related problems in console apps
Std 7 - Writing UIs and Simple Games with Python

It is very possible. But two things need to be done beforehand. 1. Programming teachers must be found or trained. There are many ways to solve this in our context and 2. We need computers and power. Again there are many ways to solve this.

We can start with select schools and expand. PPP is crucial here!

solution. Use java language python or heskel.

Kwanza isiwe laxima kila mtoto asome Programming wengime wasome application software kana graphics design, office, animation nk.
Mfano program kama toonz maker ni njema watoto waijue,
Wasome adobe, wasome gimps nk
Watoto wawe konki wapige code za kufa mtu, yani za kufa mtu.
Wanapomaliza wajue CSS,HTML, Javasctipt yani kwao iwe kama chai.
Website za shule,halmashairi zitengenezwe na wao badala ta graduate.

Kusoma coding iwe ni lazima kama ilivyo hesabu. Specialization mbele huko. Coding kwa sasa ni sehemu ya maisha. Hizo program unazozisema ni too advanced for kids!

Wewe upo field ya education ? Ulipokuwa mtoto uliweza kusolve hilo swali nililoandika hapo juu.
Kama ulishindwa kusolve kwa njia za hesbu je umgeweza kuandikia code ?
Wanaoweza kusolve hilo swali shule zetu za TZ huwa hata robo hawafiki darasani pamona na kushinda shule na kusoma usiku kucha. Vilaza mashuleni ni wengi sana, sasa uje uwaongezee limzigo lingine huku kuna limzigo wameshindwa kulitua!

Nimeandika kuwa cmpt iwe lazima ila coding isiwe lazima. Nchi hii ina vilaza wengi sana ila huwezi amini.

Hakuna mtoto kilaza shuleni. Kuna watoto wenye uwezo tofauti wa kuelewa. Tatizo ni mwalimu kuwa na wanafunzi wengi, ukosefu wa vifaa na mengine ambayo sote tunayajua.

Hata historia huwa wanafeli. Siamini kama watoto wa mikoa ya kusini ni vilaza. Ila kuna shida kule inahitaji kutatuliwa.

Hata hii computer inabidi ifanyiwe maandalizi au la itageuka kuwa laana na mzigo kwa watoto.

Tatizo sio somo, tatizo kuna masomo yanahitaji vitu kadhaa kama prerequisites ili mambo yaende.
