Membe: Tunasubiri talaka Jumuiya Afrika Mashariki

Hili kosa hatuwezi kulirudia! Mwambie Shein malalamiko yako atakusaidia,

Wanaume wanakutana Kigali mwezi huu( tarehe 28 na 29). Kanyaga twende dead weights achana nao.

Wote hao interest zao ziko kongo.

Why are they fast-tracking the formation of a political federation yet Kenya and even Uganda still have many political issues that still need to be sorted out.

I think Kenyans should be very weary of forming a political federation. Other forms of cooperation are alright but politics is another thing all together.

On the issue of a single political federation, I think that would be a wrong move! Individual political sovereignty must be maintained at all costs otherwise we will be colonised by Museveni.

Tanzania was the reason the EAC failed in the 70s and now they want to derail this new effort. In all honesty, Tanzania should stick with SADC and keep getting a raw deal since they don't seem to know how to be good neighbors. What's worse, not only has the Kikwete government attacked Paul Kagame's foreign policy with regards to the Congo but they recently decided to send home over 10,000 Kenyan teachers in a country where quality of education lags the region greatly.
The only country that's being illegal here is Tanzania.

I love my TZ neighbours, but it's quite disappointing knowing that they sabotage nearly every single resolution the EAC passes due to their 'Ujamaa policy'. Tanzania initiated a new Chinese funded port project that bypasses Mombasa as an alternative route to the African hinterland of Burundi, Rwanda & DRC. Nobody made a fuss about it, but somehow they now have a problem with the 'Northern Corridor' that bypasses their country? Hypocrisy at it's worst if you asked me.

I think the protocol should be about breaking barriers and bringing opportunities to the people. Any part of protocol that only leads to endless rounds of talks all the year round should be removed. Tanzania has been the unwilling partner in this marriage and its time they came very clearly on if they can be able to move on with us or not. Remember the land debate took so long and we could not agree

Kenya, Uganda, & Rwanda I support you and the majority of EastAfrican support you. Go ahead with your plans with/without Tanzania who are developing cold feet in the dream of one East Africa, one people and one government. When they realise it is good idea, then can join you later.

TANZANIA should stop in keeping the stand off in the making all the EAC hostage on it's own benefit's. let them join SADC if they want but should not be draging it's feet. let the willing do what they think can benefit their respective countries and cizizens.

But TZ, you always throw bottlenecks to free trade in the EAC coz you're in SADC. Can't have it both ways, you're either in EAC or SADC. Pick one. Chinese proverb; if you chase two rabbits, both will run away.

Why afar Chinese proverb. East Africans can understand it better in Swahili proverb, "mshika mbili moja huponyoka" and "mtaka yote kwa pupa hukosa yote kwa pupa".
But this should not be a reason for bulldozing Tanzanians. Tanzania is moving cautiously for a sustainable East Africa Community. Why go to the free trade so hurriedly? Tackle the underlying issues first. Another Swahili proverb "haraka haraka haina Baraka".

It is about time Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda, to in the future include Burundi, Southern Sudan, Ethiopia and Eastern Congo entered into a 'alliance-of-the-willing' cohort. Tanzania has been a party spoiler for too long. In this day and age, we cannot tolerate the collective people insecurity, sluggishness and indecisiveness demonstrated by the Tanzanians since the resurrection of the EAC. Let them cry unlawful as much as they want, but we want to move on. No one really is interested in their resources. Actually they can join SADCC if they want. Enough said!

From the looks Kenya is sidelining T.Z as a natural competitor. Being the more developed country Kenya needs TZ more than TZ needs Kenya. TZ is the biggest consumer of Kenyan goods, for those who are familiar with international trade it is very hard to get access to new markets, with all
those competitors out there they could easily replace Kenya by importing goods from elsewhere. Their country is close to 2X Kenyas, they have vast resources and all what Kenya has and more. They are the sleeping giants in EA, the only way for them is to go is grow high, Very high, so Kenya
needs to engage them, grow with them and benefit from their upward trajectory, not sideline them.

TZ needs to move with its business partners else it will be stuck where it has always been. They might have a vast land and minerals but that alone is nothing without proper strategy to make most out of them. As they argue the legality of deals made by brothers, Ken, Ug and Rwand are creating space to do business with each other and foreign nations. All is see is TZ making a mistake on these Union (Community is on the way out, now its a union in the making)

You can have all the resources in the world but it does not mean you will succeed. Countries become successful not by displaying and selling its resources but by developing human resource (japan is a case in point).

Tanzania has backtracked the EAC for 8years, its high time they pulled out and went SADEC. Tanzanian calls itself a Big Brother, ask yourselves big to who? They should refer to Mwalimu's speech in SA where he clearly mentioned Big Brother politics in Nonsense politics when countries venture into integration. Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, South Sudan please increase your speed, Tz can catch up later with the 11th president.

When discussions were taking place the TZ absconded and now that the agreements seem to be about to bear fruit the TZ is crying foul. One can only fail to cooperate to their own disadvantage as is the case now with the TZ Next time there are discussions they should move with speed or else they will lag behind. Group movement does not work in today's fast economy. One has to rise and move forward even if no one wants to join. That is what is happening and the TZ have no one to blame. They should instead join and make up the lost time by running but not walking.

Let them go, hatuna cha kupoteza na wala hatuwahitaji.

Acha kupotosha mkuu
wao wanaposema Tanzania is dragging-foot, Tanzania is frustrating, Tanzania is so and so, wanakuwa wanaongelea nchi gani ama wametaja nchi gani?

In red - we are not far from Kenyans, Kwa Kenyans ardhi tupu ndiyo deal na inamilkiwa na wachache, kwetu sisi tuna ardhi yenye madini na mbuga tujiulize, hivyo vyote vinamilikiwa na wangapi?
