Kauli kama hii ninaikumbuka siku ambayo Coutinho anataka kwenda Barcelona.
Pia ninaikumbuka siku ambayo MO anakwenda AFCON.

Wacha tuendelee kuisikia

In Klopp I Trust.

"The warmth that he brings, it's a joke," Elliott continued. "He is [a father figure]. You see it a lot, how he is with players, his players and how he interacts with the fans.

"He's the best possible man for the job, I can say, and the best possible person to be learning off."

Whenever asked for his view on negotiations, Salah has continued to divert attention away from himself by reiterating that a dealing being struck is out of his hands.

Providing a latest update on where things stand at present, Klopp today told reporters: "Mo definitely expects this club to be ambitious. We were in the last few years and we are.

"We cannot do much more, that's how it is. But I don't think it's about that. It's Mo's decision pretty much. The club did what the club can do. That's how it is.

"Nothing bad to say about it. It's fine from my point of view.

"It's exactly like it should be in this moment in time. Everything is set. Nothing happened further, no signing, no rejection or whatever.

"We just have to wait for that. It's completely fine. No rush in that situation."

Ramy Abbas Issa tweeted seven laughing emojis not long after making these comments, appearing to send out a clear message over his reaction to Klopp's assessment of talks between both parties.

This is not the first time Salah's agent has hinted at his feelings on Salah's position at the club, having made a habit of sharing such posts regarding his star client.

During the Reds' opening day victory away to Norwich City, in which the Egyptian forward was on target, he tweeted the words 'I hope they're watching'.

Let's not forget that Agents make considerable amounts of money when even average players move clubs so it is in their best interests to keep their assets moving on when the opportunity presents itself. This speculation is fuelled by Ramy Abbas Issa, it is motivated by his greed. Mo as one of the best players in the World is amply rewarded and his haul of medals would probably be an important consideration for him. Agents are only motivated by money.

Klopp inherited a club outside the top 4 with a bang average squad. Literally take a blind man not to see the work that had to be done before the club could win trophies. Bill Shankly only won a few trophies compared to Bob Paisley but Bill Shankly built the club. Jurgen Klopp just rebuilt it

Owen.
The 29-year-old Egypt forward's deal runs out in summer 2023.

He has previously said he wanted to stay but his future is in Liverpool's hands while Reds manager Jurgen Klopp has said a new deal "is Mo's decision".

"I'd be very surprised if Mo Salah didn't sign with Liverpool. What are the options at the moment?" Owen said.

"You are only going either sideways to Manchester City or down anywhere else because there is no-one else as good as these two teams in the world at the moment.

"Let's give everyone time because these things don't happen overnight.

"You are talking about one of the biggest clubs in the world and one of the biggest players in the world and that player is about to sign the biggest contract of his life.

"I think it's entirely normal that negotiations can drag on a little bit," Owen told BBC Sport.

'You can't give players what they want'

Salah joined Liverpool from Italian club Roma in summer 2017 and has scored 153 goals in 239 appearances.

He has helped the club win the Premier League, Champions League, League Cup, Fifa Club World Cup and Uefa Super Cup during his time at Anfield.

Owen, who scored 40 goals for England, started his career at Liverpool before spells at Real Madrid, Newcastle United, Manchester United and Stoke City.

Speaking at the launch of IPL Soccer - a new tournament to help British Asians showcase their talents - he believes Liverpool should not break their wage structure to keep Salah.

"You can't give players what they want. The whole game would be a disaster if that was the case," he said.

"Liverpool have got to run it as a business. They can't, of course, give any player what they want because if you do then there are lots of other players in the squad that could be knocking on Jurgen Klopp's door saying, 'well, hang on a minute, if he's on this then I should be on that'. Then the whole structure they've built so well over the years would fall apart.

"I'm sure Liverpool are very sensible, I'm sure Mo Salah and his representatives are all very sensible and understand that. It's just a case of them finding the middle ground and, hopefully, everybody will find that quite soon.

"Mo Salah has got to be thinking about the chances of success in the future - if he's thinking along those lines then Liverpool ticks that box. It's just a question of whether they tick the box financially as well."

Liverpool could soon have to think about life beyond Mohamed Salah, but the emerging Luis Díaz is showing why Jürgen Klopp is still in control.

The 25-year-old Colombia international has been a revelation since arriving from FC Porto in January. And at a time when Salah's agent is posting laughing emojis on Twitter as the latest is posted regarding his contract situation, the signing is looking more and more significant.

Connecting with Joël Matip's pass that was borrowed from Trent Alexander-Arnold's drawer, Díaz got the Reds off to the perfect start on the south coast (Brighton)— a precursor to a dominant all-round performance, but also a reminder to Salah that this ship can sail without him.

Klopp's quadruple chase needs no distractions.

Liverpool are mounting the pressure on Manchester City. Clutch wins against West Ham and Brighton have ensured that no ground has been lost in the title charge, and the Reds have done that without a reliance on Salah.

Perhaps that should be no surprise, given that Liverpool are no longer a one-man team. The days of the Reds relying on Steven Gerrard leading a cast with only speckles of stardust are long gone — though you wouldn't know that from how Salah's agent has behaved during the negotiations.

“I said it several times, if the decision is up to me, I want to stay in Liverpool," he said previously.

"There is no problem but we have to reach an agreement for the contract, it’s up to them," Salah told Egyptian channel Masr TV back in December.

The reality is that it just doesn't feel that way.

The 29-year-old star is on a path bound for immortality at Anfield. While his preference is to stay, it's clear that he is also open to moving on. No Liverpool fan would begrudge him for going in search of a new challenge, though the least Klopp would expect is to not be left on a contract carousel.

But one party has to get off at some point. As Luis Díaz continues to shine in the Premier League, Salah could soon realise that the decision is in fact up to him.

Díáz's impressive run that carved a glowing chance for Salah who missed wide is a reminder that he isn't worth twice the salary of Virgil van Dijk —and also of the Egypt international's current form that has cooled since the turn of the year. Salah has scored just three times from open play in his last 10 games.

For Salah, the current situation isn't about thinking of a figure that you think you deserve and then claiming it's the club's decision to let you go if they don't match it. While the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City can comfortably offer him £400k per week, that's not how FSG have built their winning model on Merseyside.

Díaz could be further proof of that model, with the glowing signs showing that he could well be already on the cusp of world-class status. The Colombian's performances have provided a glimpse into the future — one that could potentially be without Salah.

Turning 30 in June, the pressure will only continue to mount as it becomes clear that the Reds won't be breaking the wage structure for his services. Should Salah turn his back on one of the best teams of the modern era, that is only at the expense of his own legacy and winner's medals.

Liverpool's recruitment team have engaged in the rhetoric that his agent has proposed throughout the year, but the astute coup of Luis Díaz in January looks, yet again, to be a piece of 4D chess to that leaves the Reds prepared should they part ways with Salah.

Comment

Salah who turns 30 this summer, is not worth twice the salary of VVD. But, the oil clubs of this world and reckless clubs that do not operate sustainably, have skewed the market.

Lots of top talent available this summer. Salah may find his options limited depending on what happens with Neymar, Mbappe, and Haaland.

Chelsea sorting out their situation could be a huge.as well.
