So far, Klopp has signed Grujic (6'4), Caulker (6'3) and now Matip (6'4).

Do you think he reckons we lack height/physicality?@MosDes

Kwanini hatumsajili? Nadhani ndio sababu Hull City wapo vizuri kwenye championship na huenda msimu ujao wakarudi tena ligi kuu.

Mpo wadau.....?

Ninaamini kama Danny Ings angekuwa hana injury,...

afu angepata game time kama aliyopata ADAM LALLANA(achilia mbali CHRISTIAN BENTEKE)

mpaka sasa angekuwa na goals nyingi kuliko yule babu wa Leceister...."vardy"

Gerrard killed Liverpool and did nothing for England, rages Diouf

El Hadji Diouf has continued his feud with ex-Liverpool team-mates Jamie Carragher and Steven Gerrard in another astonishing rant.
Former Liverpool forward El Hadji Diouf has continued his feud with Steven Gerrard by questioning his legacy as well as branding old team-mate Jamie Carragher "a s***".
The 35-year-old ex-Senegal international, who also played for Blackburn Rovers, Bolton Wanderers and Sunderland in the Premier League, was criticised by both Anfield icons in their respective autobiographies.
Diouf had previously launched attacks against Gerrard and Carragher in response, but has now released a fresh barrage of criticism against the duo.
He said to So Foot: "Do you think Gerrard means it when he says that El-Hadji Diouf is not a very good player?
"I carried the national team for many years, 14 million fans on my shoulders. When we won, it was thanks to me, when we lost, it was my fault.
"What I represented for Senegal, he never managed 100th of that for England. He has never done anything in the World Cup or the Euros.
"When I arrived at Liverpool, seeing as I just did what I wanted, he thought that I did not respect the club, but he downright killed his team by slipping against Chelsea.
"If Liverpool has never won the Premier League, it is no accident. What goes around, comes around."
On Carragher, Diouf added: "The difference between Jamie and me is that I am a world-class player and he is a s***.
"The type of s*** that writes a book and mentions me all the time. Me, in my book, he does not warrant one phrase: He is a f****** loser."
Diouf also described his time at Sunderland as "six s****y months" and labelled defender Anton Ferdinand as the "number one w*****" in the squad at that time.
The former Rangers forward now plans to branch out into politics in Senegal after retiring from football.
He added: "After El-Hadji Diouf the footballer, you will see El-Hadji Diouf the businessman and politician.
"In Saint-Louis, everyone is waiting for me, they want me to become mayor. With my background and knowledge, I will make one of the most beautiful cities in Africa.
"I am going to change things for my country. Football or politics: whatever I do, it is incredible."

Liverpool great Alan Hansen says that the club needs to give Jurgen Klopp £200million this summer to be successful.

Alan Hansen, former Liverpool great, has said that Jurgen Klopp needs to be given £200million this summer for Liverpool to get back near the top.

“These players are not going to win the league, so realistically they probably need five major signings,” Hansen said, via Four Four Two.

Hansen thinks that Klopp already has a list of players that he wants to add to the team to improve the side.

“Jurgen Klopp will have taken the job already knowing who he wants to bring in,” said Hansen. “The owners have brought him in and now they need to back him, but the problem is the money.”

Will Fenway Sports Group open the checkbooks again, as they did for Brendan Rodgers?

“From what I understand Fenway Sports Group have told the manager it is not a bottomless pit,” said Hansen. “So the problem he might have is that the owners have invested so much already, will they be reluctant to do it again? They have spent a lot – £20m on Lazar Markovic, and then he was sent out on loan.”

Hansen also doesn’t think that £100million would be a sufficient figure.

“You could say they need to spend £100m, but where does that get you in today’s market?” said Hansen. “If they are going to have a real go it needs to be more like £200m – but you can’t just snap your fingers and solve the problem.”

First things first, fixing the back part of the team.

“The problem with [Liverpool goalkeeper] Simon Mignolet is he’ll go on a good run and then a bad run, but the question is whether there is anyone out there who is better,” said Hansen. “Do you give him more time? If you look at someone like David de Gea, when he was first at Manchester United he was called the worst goalkeeper in the world. Now he’s being called the best in the world.”

Dear Alan Hansen: Don’t ever put Mignolet’s name in the same breath as de Gea’s.

In front of the keeper, Hansen thinks Klopp needs a new central defender pairing.

“The manager will have to be looking at two goalkeepers and a centre-back. But like with the goalkeeper situation I can’t think of too many decent centre-backs out there,” said Hansen. “You need a centre-back partnership to be successful and Liverpool have not had one for a number of years. I look at Wes Morgan and Robert Huth at Leicester and how successful they have been. That’s what Liverpool miss.”

Tonight we'll become the first club to play 350 games in European competitions, excluding the Super Cup.
