Football is a game played with skill and tactics. if you play a team that is potentially stronger in attack, you play defensive. It really is that simple. To just say "They parked the bus" is an insult to the game. Granted, I like "The Beautiful Game" but I understand that you should do what it takes to win within the rules of the game. I don't support either team but Mr. Rodgers should take his defeat like a man - just as any other man should, in that position.

Pretty damn stupid comments coming from BR, what exactly does he expect Chelsea to do, just roll over and hand them the title? Get real, JM's tactics were spot on, and undid Liverpool completely. BR may well be frustrated, as he knows this may well hand City the title on goal difference, and as hard as that may be to take that's the way it goes! Better luck next time, maybe!!!

Fact is Chelsea were the deserved winners. I hate to say it as I really despise Mourinhio, but tactics was spot on. They restricted us to 25 yard shots and crosses into the box, which against a defence like Chelsea's, we were never going to score a header. We just needed that game changer to come on and give us something else. Andy Carroll comes to mind because he would have give us something to aim for and give our crosses some purpose. As far as the game goes, Chelsea got the first goal from a horrid bit of luck and after that they didn't have to move or chase the game. I said last week, win the league or not, this season has been a great one and we are again back amongst the best. Still think there's a few twists yet but congrats Chelsea, let this be a learning curve for Rodgers. YNWA

Liverpool got their tactics wrong yesterday. They should have played for a draw and kept passing the ball across the back four, short to the midfield and back to the back four. If they that, nothing will happen, in the match and it would have been a draw, and could still be in contention to win the league. Gerrard missed the ball and slipped because he was looking for a forward pass!

Cech's season was said to be over after he dislocated his shoulder in the first leg, while Terry was substituted after injuring his ankle in the same game.

'My captain[john terry] is playing at the same level he was playing at when I left Chelsea in 2007. It's as simple as that. Six or seven years later he's playing again at his best level. It's fair to say that.
