This is what we call simply rubbishPrivate sector should be the one driving growth, not the other way round. The government's role should be making policies and not actively competing for business with the private sector like in the case of housing. Naomba utembee Kenya ujue miaka miwili si enough. The middle class population in the country is growing. We are busy chasing the next big thing. Visit a place like Nakuru (photo below) see how "watu wadogo" like drivers, boda boda riders, farmers and teachers have built nice 3+bedroom houses some have even built rental houses. Some nice cars too. Most average families I know from Nakuru have at least two houses, one in Nakuru and another in their rural homes. Mind you its permanent houses fitted with modern decor.
