Naona wakenya mnatuombea njaa watanzania😂😂😂 nyie pambaneni kwanza na wasomali. It looks like mnaweza kuwa landlocked country. Bado watu wenu ni maskini kila kukicha.. rushwa ndo mme kubuhu🙌🏽... vitu havisogei kenya😂😂. Equity alone recorded KES12 billion half-year profits which is almost double what CRDB and NMB (The most dominant banks in Tanzanian market) made the whole of last year. Mind you 90% of that is from their Kenyan operations. KCB too made KES12.7 billion half-year profits. Yaani its like we combine Tanzania's whole banking sector of 30+ banks in only two Kenyan banks. Keep in mind it's HALF-YEAR profits. Do we still need to convince some 4 tower city we have the money?

Your small head will never comprehend simple economics,
All those are GOK money circulating, The day Your banks will stop doing business with the Government and focus on microeconomics come share those empty figures,

Utashtuka Air Uganda beating you. They're taking baby steps and everyone agrees it's the best strategy to win in an unfamiliar territory. Tz's expansion of their airline is unsustainable and will end up hitting you hard. Mark this post. The margins in the airline business are very low worldwide. Very few companies even in the developed world manage to stay afloat.

Umeongea na hisia kwelikweli...I won't comment on most of the things you said coz its clearly driven by hate and bitterness

I have a very simple question for you: Does it mean that these insecurity concerns only affected the operations of your airline alone? KQ is still flying to South Africa, same with Rwandair and a host of other continental airlines. How comes it's only ATCL that was affected? Kwa kukana mambo hamna wapinzani. Kama safari zimeisha kubalini tu mtafute new markets instead of looking for silly excuses

When you are entering a business that you have very limited experience and information about, it's good to start small and make steps along the way. You can't start with a bang and expect to make strides. You will fall with the very first move you make, and we can all see this with ATCL after all the pomp and colour that we were treated to

What about 514 Kenyans companies which decided to invest in Tanzania worth of $1.8B creating nearly 50,000 jobs which otherwise would employ Kenyans?, Tanzania leads this region, every one would like to come and invest, live or work in Tanzania, the same way like Mexicans fluck to USA.
only major league fools make such statemaents
having many companies in tanzania means we control your economy
if tanzania economy was sophisticated very few kenyan companies will be in tanzania

Your small head will never comprehend simple economics,

You mean Tanzanian banks don't do business with the government? The main reason Kenyan banks do business with the government is the interest rate cap which was intentionally lowered to discourage banks from lending SME's and individuals and instead fund the government's projects. Otherwise there are other profitable lines for banks beyond the government. Why else do you think there's a high number of mobile money lending apps in Kenya? and why are they successful? is it still the government? same banks are rushing to develop digital loans products and it's proving profitable.

Deal with it
Sooner than expected

The problem with these guys is trying to compete simply because they see we are dominating. They ought to be competing in finding gaps, capitalizing them and taking the region to the next level. Right now Kenyan companies are rushing to Eth, South Sudan, Somalia and DRC because of the untapped market. I was expectng to see a similar reaction from TZ but its close to neglegible. I imagine this is the conversation in JPM's office everyday. "ni ni walichonacho ambacho hatuna?" I've been following JPM's conversations and you can tell Kenya is his biggest nightmare. Yaani he's hellbent to bring EAC down, especially Kenya, while thinking he's building EAC.

How do you expect Tanzanians to even start thinking of competing in foreign markets? There are very few Tanzanians and Tanzanian companies that can dare do that. Hawa watu ujamaa iliwaponza kabisa. They can't think beyond their noses. Their only job is to troll kenya
