I agree with you yo some extent but let me ask you a very simple question: of the 4 million plus Dar residents, how many people are served by this BRT thing? Am not a Dar resident but the few aerial photos you've brought here shows only one or two BRT lines in the entire city snailing its way through what I will rightfully call slums. What happens to Dar residents where there's no brt line? Am asking this coz you people try to make BRT look so great as if it's the only mode of transport used by each and every Dar resident. Don't you have matatus in other routes not served by brt? Ama hawa watu wengine hutembea kwa miguu wakienda mjini?In this civilized world, Mass public transit makes sense if you have these things in your city, but I assure you, this isn't as easy as drawing red lines on the road and naming them 'BRT ONLY' this is because to implement the real BRT you need Money, (beautiful amounts), plan, feasibility studies, construction of some serious infrastructure and the system, it may become difficult if a governor with chains on his neck like a dog tries to implement it by himself.
