It is a real project. They laid the foundation stone last year and they are working on it at the moment. Actually wamelaunch their website where you can see the plans and get news. Pia THE PINNACLE. About making Nairobi look like we have one tower nadoubt The project inafanywa area ya Upper Hill where some very tall buildings zinaanza kujengwa with the construction of the tallest private residential building in Africa is on the way. The building 88 Nairobi will be a condo. It is also about 216 metres tall. Meaning jengo litatoshana na Pinnacle tower 2. And it is only the begining. Hizi projects zikihappen others will follow. Kuna akina 160 metre montave which is also on the way. Soo in the next ten years we will see a boom of supertalls in Upper Hill area, Nairobi. CBD itabaki relatively short. Upper Hill will be the tallest area with Westlands also giving them some stiff competition in that department

Poor priority settings, are tall buildings more important for Kenya than food, water, employment opportunities, security, tribalism and big gap between rich and poor?. Ironically Kenyans are very much fascinate by buildings(Privately owned), than those above mentioned basic needs.

Those are private ventures to serve those who can afford them. I mean if I can afford a condo, there should be one available for me to buy. Yes there are many problems we are facing as a country but hio ni shida ya national government si shida ya private developers. Hizo shida are not dealt with overnight, slowly zitaisha tu. So, be happy something like this is happening in East Africa and stop being a cunt about it

Sitegemei privately owned projected to be celebrated as a National or Government owned project, especially in a country where there are basic problems like food, water, security and slums. I wouldn't mind if those privately owned projects were intended to address those basic problems at affordable costs.

when I traversed your country in the north I just saw millions of mud houses everywhere.....I wonder how you are blind to the extreme poverty in tz.Do you ask yourself why you are a least developed nation and Kenya is not....?ama mnaonewa kama Kawaida....lol

Unaongea as if Tanzania is hevean while you are just a third world country grappling with tens of thousands of problems. Does every Tanzanian have enough food to eat? does every Tanzanian have access to clean and treated drinking water? Is Tanzania the most secure country on planet earth? Aren't their slums in Tanzania? As far as am concerned, your capital, Dar, is just one mega slum called a city for lack of a more befitting word. Hawa watu are so full of blind patriotism and living in denial. The latter is one of the reasons they are an ldc...hawataki kukubali shida zao na kuzishugulikia. Watapinga even the most obvious facts about their country
