Rather than exclaiming and acting shocked, it would really help if you explained the case of Tim Draper, where after buying an island, he’s been told he doesn’t own it, he was just given rights to develop it..

That's an isolated case. Draper acquired that Island/land as an investor. Foreigners do not own land in Tanzania. Under normal circumstances one can sell his/her plot,farm,house whenever they wish.
