The small town of Kitale clearly took inspiration from Bongolala's most famous market, or the communist brutalist design it copied.

Hiyo ya Kitale ni very ugly. Kama wamepata inspiration kutoka Kariakoo, well they've failed coz Kariakoo is beautiful na hiyo ya Kitale sijui hata ni nini mmejenga

There is no $20 billion project in Tanga.
There is only a $2 billion LOAN project in Hoima, NOT investment.
No one knows what's even needed in Tanga, not even business reporters at CNBC, because the Hoima refinery will obviously have on-site storage.

State House UG called the Tanga Energy hUb, as 'complementary'.
Probably to be used only in emergencies or overflows. 😂😂

Uganda daily consumption is like 50k. Their refinery capacity is 60k, and 100% is rarely reached. Meaning if they choose to consume it all cheaply, bongolala will be left with an idle pipeline, and rusting storage tanks. 😂

This is Samia's propaganda to lift her image.

What you're launching in Tanga is what we launched in Lamu years ago.
A plan to attract investment worth tens of billions.

Problem is, based on pure economics of scale mathematics, no one will ever build a refinery of any similar scale this side of Africa, after Dangote in Lamu.

For decades to come.
