Battle: Dar es Salaam vs Nairobi

Battle: Dar es Salaam vs Nairobi

Blind patriotism is a worst disease. It is a kin to corruption. It is pity some have embraced it. We must learn to call out things for what they are. Even if it is my country

Ndugu huku mimi siku huzi nachunga hata ninachoongea online.
Marekani bana wananchi wanatukanana hadi na viongozi twitter.

One thing I have realized about Tanzanians, is majority of these guys like to brag about everything. These guys believe their president is a god sent from heaven to help them. I have not seen any one of them criticize their president despite his weaknesses. They praise him for everything that he does even negative ones by quoting constitution. This is what I call blind patriotism. It is good in Kenya we guys plus media, politicians, church leaders criticize the goverment or president for that matter and even the goverment criticize itself just like Uhuru and Maraga or parliament vs executive or vs Judiciary and vice versa. This way these institutions and people do learn, correct their mistakes and we become a better country. This criticm does not mean however, the goverment or uhuru presidency and other goverment entities are not functioning and doing good things but rather it means we acknowledge the good things and hold them accountable where they fail. Blind patriotism such as that of Tanzania only makes a country retard and allows the president to run the country like his own life because he think he is a god who cannot make a mistake

Right! I've been saying it here time and again that Tanzanians and Kenyans are wired differently hence even the level of debate here is on polar opposites! Kenyans don't see their leaders as solutions to everything but as facilitators to quick solutions by citizens themselves. Tanzanians on their part believe that Wakuu watasuluhisha! Self empowered citizens makes leaders think ahead of time and Kenyans are good at it instead of abrogating it to leaders to think for you of which more often that not, they'll only deal with matters within their own comfort zones!
They find it earth-shaking news to see Kenyan media and especially Twitter/Facebook posts highlighting various misgivings in Kenya to be the hell on earth! They forget that our self criticisms and appraisals is what keeps leaders in check or right dead in their tracks if hurtling down the destructive path.
It will take them generations to detox that Ujamaa mindset!

okay....where do these fish come from? Lake Victoria or nearby fish farms? and if it is in fish farms, where are they located?
apart from fish that come from india ocean, lake tanganyika, lake nyasa and other water bodies, there are individual tanzanians who run fish farming business in the country.

endelea kulia lia, hatutoacha kufatilia affairs za kenya.

you guys are just ignorant.......if you've never travelled outside Tanzania arusha might be something to you ....but in reality an overrated kericho

Arusha is just an outpost town as any other! A glorified trading centre with few amenities. Were it not on the feeder route on the Namanga border point then calling it whatever other name would be over statement!

a friendly reminder notification to all jobless goons in kenya.
dodoma wine is produced in tanzania.

You don't need Kenyans' validation to acknowledge that you can make some third rate wines! That is the highest degree of inferiority complex,a DNA thread very common in most Tanzanians no matter their class!

kinachonistaajabisha hata nyie wakenya munamlilia magufuli aletwe kenya 😀😀😀

maraga and uhuru plus chibukati wote hao ni players so usijipe matumaini kenya kuna tume huru never and will not happen, na kitu kibaya ambacho kinaiumbisha kenya ni ukabila yani ukabila ni sumu mbaya sana kwenye jamii haitaisha mpaka vizazi na vizazi

so ukabila na vita ndivo vimewaingiza kwenye uchaguzi mara ya pili na kuingiza nchi kwenye hasara kubwa sana kuandaa kupiga kura zaidi ya 480m usd

ukabila hauta waacha salama 😀😀😀

Ikiwa TZ inaitegemea Kenya kuiletea watalii kupitia JKIA na ipo top 10, najarib kufikiria tu kama zetu ndege zikiwasili japo hz 4 tu za kuanzia itakuaje????

Don't forget that Kenyan tour operators based both in Kenya and in the west market Kenya/Tanzania safaris as a package hence the preferred use of JKIA as the first port of call. Good luck if you think planes alone will translate into tourist influx!

How do Americans view Kenya?

American my whole life

For most uneducated Americans, Kenya is viewed as a dirty, backward, and violent country. They get mental pictures of black people living in grass huts, covered in dirt, with almost no clothing, and flies crawling on their faces. They picture a life of extreme poverty and starving children with no ability to improve without outside help. Kenyan cities are seen as composed of shacks , filled with violent Muslims and run by warlords.

You can as well replace Kenya with any other African country including Tanzania if that's what most uneducated Americans think of Kenya. Do you also think like most of those uneducated Americans now that you amplify their views!?

they have that ignorant mentality ya kujivuia kila kitu hata mahali hakuna kitu cha kujivunia

Because they never imagined during decades of their Ujamaa mental slavery that some things are achievable! Now that they can see light at the end of the tunnel, they think eureka,Nivarna is here!! 😀😀😀.

My caution to them though, the light at the end of the tunnel might not necessarily be an exit route but could just be the lights of a coming train!! 😀😀😀

hio inaitwa zilipendwa 😀😀😀😀

2017

tanzania imepokea watalii over 2 million
kenya imepokea around 700k

Yes,let it hit even 4 million of them! Mass tourism of back packers is no match to high-end quality spenders! Ever heard of quality over quantity comparatives!?
hehehe nilitegemea povu asante sana kichwa maji
kwenye tourism hio sahau haitarudi tena sasa tunakuja kwenye aviation kaeni mkao wa kula😀😀😀

Tuko papa hapa! If you think the 4 planes will make tourists scramble to fly to Tz then delusion is a silent disease!
