Battle: Dar es Salaam vs Nairobi

Battle: Dar es Salaam vs Nairobi

tanzanians are very stupid...so you expect the cost of a plate of fish in a coastal city to be the same as a plate of the same in an inland city? my friend, the reason why fish is cheap in Dar is because Dar is a coastal city..mtu anavua samaki tu na baada ya dakika chahche chakula kiko mezani tayari kuliwa...for instance, a plate of fish will cost more in Nairobi than in Mombasa or Kisumu for instance because of transportation and refrigeration costs etc...simple reasoning......
Samaki wanaoliwa Tanzania wengi wanatoka lake Victoria

One thing I have realized about Tanzanians, is majority of these guys like to brag about everything. These guys believe their president is a god sent from heaven to help them. I have not seen any one of them criticize their president despite his weaknesses. They praise him for everything that he does even negative ones by quoting constitution. This is what I call blind patriotism. It is good in Kenya we guys plus media, politicians, church leaders criticize the goverment or president for that matter and even the goverment criticize itself just like Uhuru and Maraga or parliament vs executive or vs Judiciary and vice versa. This way these institutions and people do learn, correct their mistakes and we become a better country. This criticm does not mean however, the goverment or uhuru presidency and other goverment entities are not functioning and doing good things but rather it means we acknowledge the good things and hold them accountable where they fail. Blind patriotism such as that of Tanzania only makes a country retard and allows the president to run the country like his own life because he think he is a god who cannot make a mistake

Samaki wanapatikaa baharini pekee?
Uko inland hakuna mabwawa?mito? Bro punguza mikwara tafadhal
in fish farming, they use ponds and they still incur costs for maintenance bana..lazima bei ipande sababu ya vaccines, fish food etc..transportation and refrigeration pia ni costs to consider my brother...just do some simple reasoning...hapo Dar kuna mahala wanauza samaki wengi sana toka baharini.... najua hili kwa sababu washaleta documentary KTN NEWS...

That is cool, but don't you try even to compare Arusha with that tiny shamba from poor county, Arusha kuna Estates za mashamba ya kila aina, mifugo, viwanda, real estate...yaani iyo county yenu bado iko down sana sana,Mnalima hatua mbili mnavimba?

you guys are just ignorant.......if you've never travelled outside Tanzania arusha might be something to you ....but in reality an overrated kericho

they have that ignorant mentality ya kujivuia kila kitu hata mahali hakuna kitu cha kujivunia

They come from lake victoria, by aeroplane ...
ok the only thing I can think of is that these fish come in bulk quantities..thats why they are cheap....tanzania enjoys a larger share of Lake Victoria compared to Kenya which means more fish...this must lead to lower prices...I once bought a kilogram of tilapia at Gikomba market in Nairobi at 400 KSH

it has nothing to do with that bro...for example, if you had a hot and dry climate like the one in Northern Kenya, trust me, there would be food shortages...those guys rarely see rain so they have to find alternative sources of water...e.g underground water or dams...thats why there are food shortages...the govt has got to address that problem pronto...a plan for 57 dams is slowly materializing though...I hope it was not just political gimmicks...
