Battle: Dar es Salaam vs Nairobi

Battle: Dar es Salaam vs Nairobi

He's not doing guess work, he clearly has never run a business. That is how people who have never run businesses reason and that's how anyone thinks before they actually start running a business. Ukishaingia ndio utajua. Nikijaribu kumpa tu mifano.
1. You could buy a sack of potatoes and it all spoils before you turn it into chips.
2. Not everyday will you sell everything, potatoes are perishable. Everytime you don't sell everything translates into a loss.
3. He completely ignored expenses such as transportation, licenses, water etc from his calculation.
4. Weather - you can't fry and sell chips on a rainy day in an open air scenario
5. Competition
6. Price fluctuation
7. Personal issues.
The list is just too long and even still, if by some miracle you manage to regularly make the 62k, it's that really an amount that can build you a mansion? Watu waache mchezo buana. 62k ukitumia vizuri saana you can save 20k in a month for a family man - that is you living a modest lifestyle. How is 20k a month going to build you a mansion?

Ananikumbusha nikiwa campus nikipiga hesabu za kuanzisha retail shop. My calculation brought me to at least 3k per day. Ville nilianzisha hiyo biz I realized I was struggling to even pay rent. It's called naivety.
Most of these people have never done any business. Nimeona Amarii the liker pia anaongea mambo zingine hazielewi😂

They know every negative thing going on in Kenya. They know every building that has collapsed in Kenya. They know when our SGR isn't getting enough passengers, they know when Ruto falls out with Kindiki but they can't name a handfull of towers over 20 floors in Dar es Salaam.😂😂😂😂
It's because Kenyans post everything online. Kila kitu mnachofanya Nairobi mnakipost kwenye internet. Easy kupata taarifa zenu

Especially on informal employment. You know a teacher earning that amount and lives in a village could build a grand bungalow through a government loan. But someone selling chips in a town or city - man. These people are jokers. 🤣 🤣
With their reasoning I expected everyone in Tz to be chips vendor.

For me I made peace with my businesses, today you are smiling for making XX profit, tomorrow you thinking of downsizing on employees and some privileges.

There's a lot of profitable things to do in Tanzania. Sio lazima kila mtu awe muuza chips

wait kabla kunihubiria tuende polepole.
So tuseme anatengeneza hio 50,000 kwa siku, hio ni net profit ama pesa zitakazorudi kwa biashara, kuna expenses ku restock viazi, mafuta viungo, gas, rent etc.
Ukishatoa hayo, usisahau lazima huyo mtu aishi, so alipokaa ana matumizi yake ya nyumba kama bills alafu labda karo ya watoto, au matumizi mengine how much is being saved kwa hio 50,000?
Nataka tuwe practical hapa because hata Nairobi bodaboda operators hutengeneza hata 6-10k ksh kwa siku, but that doesn’t mean he can suddenly afford a 1million shillings house because that is not net and there are expenses. Therefore hio affordable housing can make sense to him kwa sababu akilipa 3800 kwa rent to own itakuwa very reasonable.
Umeme 3 units per hour na unaweza to minimum plate 20 per hour so per plate umeme 52 tsh
Branding ,tax rent and the like weka 700
Kumbuka hizo major costs kwenye chips .
Vitu kama tax rate hawa hulipa 250,000 per year service levy 50,000 per year .
Na most of them rent huwa ni 50,000 per month.
Nakuongezea plus kachumbari per plate hutakiwi zidisha 100 tsh .
Ila bado cost zinapunguzwa mfano badala umeme kuna majiko ya kutumia pumba ambayo ni less costly.
Na most of them hawanunui all those items in cash bali mkopo and the like.

Mind you hapo ni chips kavu ,ila kwenye chips mayai a kg inatoa plates Tano na bado bei inakuwa 3000 tsh🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Nyinyi endeleeni kugoma tu

Thank you, this guy is assuming gross earnings to be net profit.Hio hesabu ametupea sio practical at all Hata kama hakuenda shule hio sio excuse juu yeye ni adult, kwani hafanyi biashara ama kazi?

Kusema a guy working in small businesses after all business and personal expenses is saving an equivalent of ksh 62,500 na ni mtu wa kawaida in Tanzania is just insane, that’s a rich person! who wouldn’t wish to save 62,500 per month after paying for everything 🤣🤣🤣
Tulizana ndo maana mnaambiwa bado sana kuijua bongo Tanzania

Bado mnabishana tu

Buda most government employees bado wanajishughulisha na hizi business ndogo ndogo hapo umepewa mfano tu wa chips kama mfano , vipi nikikupeleka kwenye kitimoto and the like au vipi nikikupeleka kwa waalimu wa primary walioko vijijini ambao wanamilikia au wanalima mpaka 30 acres za cashewnut au wale wa njombe wenye mashamba makubwa ya mbao.
Hivi huwa hamjiulizi kwani tanzanians wanapenda kujenga nyumba zao wenyewe ?

Mwingine ameniambia that they have uncountable buildings under construction in Dar that are above 20 floors, but now showing the picture of at least 3 of those uncountable hawezi😂
Yani 8 floors wanazijua lakini 20 floors is where they draw the line.😂😂😂

But here, you were not talking of a government employee who frys chips as a sidehustle. You were talking about someone whose main hustle is frying chips. Unadhani utatubeba ufala kama hao mabongolala wenzako?🤣🤣🤣
You're dumber than I thought if you think a roadside vendor can sell 10 sacks of chips a day. You clearly have the brains of a Koala bear.

Most of these people have never done any business. Nimeona Amarii the liker pia anaongea mambo zingine hazielewi😂
Wewe huoni Konkodile ananiambia a roadside vendor anauza 10 sacks of potatoes worth of chips per day? These guys have zero mathematics knowledge. Does he even know many people it takes just to chop 10 sacks of potatoes into chips? These people have never done business. 🤣 🤣

Binafsi mimi nasafirisha Mbuzi kutoka Kondoa dodoma kwa 3000 - 4000 from Kondoa to Pugu Dar es Salaam. 😂 mbuzi niliemnunua maximum 80k - 150k Tzs.

Tz nowadays biashara karibu zote in Dar for instance ni free delivery. 😂😂😂.

Yooo haujui chochote kuhusu bongo na biashara zinavyooendeshwa kaa kimya, au nitafute nikupe tips how you can make an easy money in Tz and take them to Kunyarenda kama unao mtaji wa kutosha.

But here, you were not talking of a government employee who frys chips as a sidehustle. You were talking about someone whose main hustle is frying chips.

Wewe huna biashara, last time we had this discussion you borrowed a picture from someone to prove a point. By the way hiyo challenge was yours, hadi wa Leo I'm still waiting for your business license.

For me I earn salary and I also do business. I have several sources of income unlike lazybone like you who doesn't have anything.

These people are very funny. Instead of just accepting that they don't have them hao bado wanaenda zigzag😂😂
