95% of Tazara is used to carry copper and other raw minerals to Dar port for further export. Zambia is your big customer.
Together with Mozambique and Zimbabwe, they are building a trade triangle to Maputo port, now under expansion, with shorter routes.
Even the few Zambians who import their goods through Dar will soon have a shorter route. 😂😂

Port of Maputo is 300 km closer to Lusaka, and about 1200km closer to Harare than Darvumbi.

Issue sio kuwa electric tu bado watahitaji kubadilisha design nzima ya signalling system , curves na kufanya continuous welding ili iweze kwenda kwa spidi, gharama ni kubwa haiwezi kuwa na return kwao
