Bongolalas wondering why these highrise projects are rising all over Nairobi and its environs like mushrooms and the same is not happening in Dar slum.

It's all about the growing middle-class and Kenyans' purchasing power. If you read that tweet, you see the project is already 80% sold off-plan. Yani hata groundbreaking haijaanza na wakenya washanunua units!

An investor wants a market where he's assured of ROI, and this is what Nairobi offers as opposed to that glorified fishing village

For them the TPA tower is still half empty 15 years since it was completed.

Mzizima tower is still under construction since 2013, in Kenya ground breaking is happening today then next year it's already topped out😂
