Kaka usidanganywe. Hii issue walikuwa nayo tangu zamani. Rwanda alitishia kusitisha mkataba huo ndio maana wanekuja juu na kupigia makelele.

Uganda pia alikuwa na mkataba huo aliusitisha juzi kati.

Tanzania system yetu ni bulk procurement, hatutegemei nchi moja. Soma detail ya mkataba.

So nmeifuatilia and here is what am told:
The deal is Rwanda and Oman kuuziana mafuta, before rwanda walikua wananunua kupitia brokers wa kenya so there was so added profits in the price

So here is how the new deal will be, Oman sends refined oil to MOmbasa and then Mombasa pumps it Via Pipeline ambayo inaishia around Eldoret, so mean Rwanda watakua wanaenda kuchukulia Eldoret which cuts the journey time ya zile trucks instead ya kwenda staright mpaka dar, watakua wanachukulia border pale karibu na Uganda(Which is pretty ok as it saves cost kuliko kusafiri from kigali upite kigoma straight mpaka dar by truck)

To rwanda side its a good deal and there is no need to feel bad about them, However remember Kenya pipeline is owned by Uganda so its basically Uganda profits

Nakumbuka kipondi cha Kikwete kulikuwa na mradi wa pipeline kwenda Mwanza kampuni ya Canada ghafla mwanamama wa kiarabu Noor Oil of Qatar in 2006 akaunyakua! The rest is history!
