You are the one who doesn't read to understand. To begin with, the data was prepared in 2020, not 2011 or 2017 as you purport.Bringing data that was collected during 2011-2017 period and still doesn't support your claims in 2025 is a total madness.
By the way, based on this article, does this mean Nigeria is the poorest country in Africa?? Do you read to understand??
Secondly, how does that data not support my claim when I stated that Tanzania leads in extreme poverty in East Africa? Did you see Uganda or Kenya mentioned in that report? I only saw Tanzania.
Lastly, yes Nigeria could be the poorest country in Africa if the number of people living in extreme poverty is the threshold to use. But again if you look at the percentages, it does not come anywhere near being the poorest. Nigeria has close to 240 million people. I don't get how 79 million people out of 240 million people can give the impression that it's the poorest. That's roughly 32% of the population. Percentage-wise, Tanzania is even doing worse than Nigeria at 46% of the population living in extreme poverty as per the report.
I hope I have schooled you a little and that you have understood
