Tangu ilipoanza SGR ya Kenya rasmi shughuli za usafirishaji mizigo tarehe 1 Januari 2018 hadi leo, tarehe 27 Juni 2025, SGR imekuwa ikifanya kazi kwa jumla ya takriban siku 2,369.

Taarifa zinaonyesha kuwa kuna kati ya treni 8 hadi 17 za mizigo zinazofanya kazi kila siku.

Kwa kuzingatia jumla ya tani zilizosafirishwa na idadi ya siku za kazi, wastani wa tani za mizigo zinazosafirishwa na SGR kwa siku ni takriban tani 12,663.

Wastani wa tani kwa kila treni moja ya mizigo ya SGR ni takriban tani 1,013.

700 tones Vs 4,000 tones.

Stop being stupid TRC explicitly said this is a trial run before fully fledged service starts. They start small in order to test the system with cargo then gradually increase the carriages and speed to reach an optimum capacity.
