I speak this because, Metrozone shop City mall is sending many DJI pocket cameras to Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda, because that camera in those countries is overpriced. So they prefer buying in Dar.

Kenya airways cargo is like 23 times that of Air Tanzania and you think a Kenyan would import electronics through Tanzania? Other than Deras and vitambaa which are cheaper in Dar I don't see any Kenyan habitually buying imported stuff from Dar. In fact many Tanzanians come for electronics and car spares in Nairobi. I've seen it happen myself.....and a sizeable deal of northern Tanzanians import from Mombasa.

PS.....you never ignore me, you just bring an argument then when I corner you with facts you get lost then come back with the same argument on a different topic. Anaongelea cargo, mwambie aweke hapa cargo data ya JNIA sisi tuweke ya JKIA tuone nani anaimport more via air. KQ pekee does 23 times more cargo than ATCL and I'm pretty sure more than the total amount of cargo done at JNIA. Wanakuja kununua nguo na viatu kutoka Kwa maduka za wachina. And they are only small scale retailers. Does that stop Nairobi from being the regional hub? Does it deter investors from setting up their regional business in Nairobi? I repeat unareason kama fala.
