Kenya projects are always expensive coz as a free market economy, there are major obstacles of land compensation ( real and imaginary) unlike socialist countries like TZ where the government owns the land. If Kenya land system was similar to TZ, Kenya would be a first world by now. Sometimes land compensation costs as much if not more than the project itself due to market rates ( and they get exaggerated to some degree in such projects).
