Seriously why can’t you accept when you are wrong. Nobody’s perfect. Never met anyone who beats a dead horse more than you . What are you trying to prove. Kama hujui liquor store ni nini is ok . Not a big a deal . Hata Mimi sikuwa najua Uswazi ni nini till I came here …🤣🤣🤣

My brother wewemwenyewe ushawai kufika liquor store kweli.? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 so many liquor stores outlets here in Dar, watu wanakunywa and yes they meant to be used as retail stores. Zipo places within the outlets watu wanakunywa wana enjoy na nimezipost. One of the Most famous liquor store in Dar Mawella, Icon liquor store Sinza Dar. This is how things are going on 👇🏾

I appreciate your comprehensive response but I have a question. Is this a liquor store or a bar ?… or are stores classified differently in Dar ?.. just asking

Just because some land planners decades ago gave Dar's slum arbitrary boundaries, makes the likes of Sama boy 255 wet 😂 😂

There is this 'Muhindi' architect YouTuber who has lived in Dar for years, who said it best.
Nairobi could easily pass for any global metropolis
Dar is your typical African city.
- Brown buildings seemingly last painted by the white man.
- Barely any tarmac outside the main roads
- Near total lack of planning for the whole city outside the center. From above, 12th century London was more organized.
- Translating to close to zero public services (sewage, water, fire, etc... outside a select few, newer estates).
- 'Vibe zoning'.. Why use grids like those losers in Nairobi?

I mean, how the hell is a fire engine supposed to navigate these 'desirable middle-class' estates in Dar?
When Venus Star posts about slums in Nairobi. he should know that in Nairobi we call better organized places than these 'slums'.
Yet in Bongo it stretches further than the eye can see.

I've come to believe that the biggest difference, and the reason Kenya will continue remaining ahead of Bongo, actually expanding the gap, is because they don't have a culture of calling a spade a spade.

And this is what Geza Ulole and co. don't get. It doesn't matter how many bee ara tees you build. It doesn't matter how many yes ji aras you construct..
Cities are built by private individuals, and are a sign of private wealth in a nation.
Like 9 of the top 10 tallest buildings constructed in Bongo-slum last 10 years have been built by government or government-adjacent body. Unlike Nairobi where it's the opposite.

Still, Dar gives that 'African city' vibe.
2 tall, shinny buildings surrounded by hundreds of yellow or cream - 2 storey eyesores last painted by Her Majesty.

Outside of Southern and Northern Africa, Nairobi is the only city that doesn't present that vibe.
And trust me bongoslummers Geza Ulole and bongoslumlords ichoboy01 , you're not going to bee ara tee your way out of this one. 😂 😂
