No serious Kenyan compares Zanzibar to Mombasa bro. Mombasa is the the 4th biggest city in the EAC with the 4th biggest GDP and with the busiest port in EAC and the second busiest port in Africa and third busiest airport in EAC. Kenyans normally compare Zanzibar to Malindi and Diani. There is no city other than Dar in Bongo that is worth Mombasa's time. Secondly, Kenyans wouldn't approve any level of renovation to perfectly good structure nor building a new structure when the existing one can perfectly serve the purpose.
