Huwezi kupunguz foleni kwa kutanua barabara. Magari yataendelea kununuliwa na kutanua kuna mwisho. Unafanyaje kupunguza foleni? Moja ya njia isioumiza ni kuboresha public transport ili watu waache magari watumie public transport. Na ndio lengo la BRT. Mwanzoni lilifanikiwa,watu wengi wa Morogoro road walikuwa wanaacha magari wanapanda BRT. Lakini kama kawaida wapumbavu wakaharibu BRT ikawa ya kipumbavu ikabidi watu warudie magari yao. Still bado tunaamini hii ndio solution ikisimamiwa na watu serious tutapunguza kutumia magari binafsi. Angalia SGR. Watu wengi waliokuwa wanaendesha Dar-Moro-Dodoma wameacha magari wanapanda treni kwasababu ni salama,comfortable na gharama mafuu. Kama itaendelea hivi itasaidia ila wakileta upumbavu wa BRT 1 watu wataisusa tena. Pamoja na kuandika haya yote barabara kama Kibaha-Chalinze inastahili njia 6 na km 40 kabla ya Morogoro kutokea Dar inastahili njia 6, Arusha-Moshi-Himo inastahili njia sita.Sio Mandela tu hata Nyerere Rd na Hasan Mwinyi zilitakiwa ziwe njia nane, tatu za magari ya kawaida na moja mwendo kasi kila upande.Maana tunaambiwa Dar itakuwa na watu million 10 kufikia 2030 yaani myaka sita tu ijayo! Je hivyo vinjia viwili vitahimili ongezeko hilo?au ndo kubomoa na kujenga kila baada ya mda mfupi kama wanavofanya hiyo ya Ubungo/Kimara.
Tanzania ipo na more than 1000 bus companies. Kila moja ikiwa na at least 10 buses.

TANZANIA: The first of the electric locomotives and multiple-units which Hyundai Rotem is to supply for Tanzania Railways Corp’s standard gauge line have been unveiled at the manufacturer’s Changwon factory in South Korea.

In July 2021 TRC awarded Hyundai Rotem a 335·4bn won contract to supply 17 four-axle 25 kV 50 Hz electric locomotives and 10 EMUs for the 546 km standard gauge line which is under construction between Dar es Salaam, Morogoro and Makutopora.
