I think ni Kigoma to Burundi and Congo. Kwa sababu lengo kubwa ni madini ya cobalt yaliyopo burundi na Congo.

Makampuni hayo hayawezi kuwekeza kwenye commuter railway maana hakuna faida ya moja kwa moja kwao.

Wanaoweza kuwekeza Commuter rail ni Bank ya Dunia au AfDB.

Mimi ninachowaza mazungumzo hayo yalilenga kukamilisha vipande vya SGR vilivyosalia. CRCC ni kampuni kubwa sana duniani na aliyekuja hapo ni rais wa kampuni hiyo. Sidhani kama wanaweza kujadiliana issue ya ujenzi wa reli ambayo haina faida kwao.
 
Kwa jinsi hali ilivyo unaweza kuta majadiliano ya reli ya Zanzibar ambayo haina ushindani badala ya kumalizia hii inayojengwa!
Naweza kuongezea kiambatisho hiki hapa ili kuwaza zaidi. Nadhani itakuwa kipande cha kutoka kigoma kwenda Burundi. Kimbuka burundi ipo na machimbo mengi sana ya cobalt.

In December 2022, Tanzania entered into an agreement with China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) and China Railway Construction Corporation (CRCC) to build a section of the SGR line connecting Tabora, a mid-western city, to Kigoma on the north-eastern shores of Lake Tanganyika near the Burundi and DRC borders.

Yeah inaweza kuwemo kwenye agendas pia sababu alisema kuna companies nyingi zimeonesha interests kujenga SGR kwa PPP kutoka Uvinza mpaka DRC na vipande vingine hasa cha southern corridor ila tazara nayo imefanyiwa feasibility study na detail designs na preliminary analysis zote za ujenzi kuanza ilibaki tu wakubwa wakutane kazi ianze.
