wapi hizo picha za Mwanza ndio nibaki nikicheka usiku wa leo...hio ndio wanafananisha na mji wa Mombasa...
Yes, investors is one of the reasons why, though there are tens of other factors that play a role too. Do you know how much Pinnacle paid for the piece of land where they are putting up the tower? 600 million kenya shillings. now convert that to Tsh.Investors over everything,ur topic ain't tangible
Yaani hiyo picha inaonesha jinsi gani Mombasa ni upuuzi Kwa dar
.We are not coppying anything. I said that it's by DEFAULT. Mbona hata kizungu rahisi hivi hamwezi elewa? I said that it's by default for big cities like Nairobi to have exorbitant land prices. it's not by design, it's by deault my brother. I even gave examples of other big cities where prices of land is even more expensive than here in Nairobi. And again, si makosa ya Nairobi kuwa regional and continental hub hapa Africa ndiyo price ya land ikuwe juu. Blame it on investors and international companies who choose it over Dar. I hope umenielewa sasa.
How have I become a slave yet I own pieces of land in my home county? Or did you mean that as a kenyan, I must own land in Nairobi for me not to be considered a slave? if that's the case, then am a very proud slave because I own many pieces of land outside Nairobi, majority of which I have bought using my own savings. Nairobi is an international city so land doesn't cost peanuts here like it does in Dar. Not every Tom Dick and Hurry can afford land here..
FYI, everything is by design.
In the early sixties (in Tz) we had few pigs just like what you have in Kenya today, who started to suck on other people's blood for their own benefits. Our leaders, as smart as they were, noticed the trend, as they were ahead of the curve and broke it before it became a monster (by design).
Your leaders on the other hand, championed the idea of deregulating land grabbing policy (by design). Now the monster you have been nurturing for years has become so big that is starting to suffocating your own progeny. Most of you are becoming slaves in your own country and the sad thing is you don't know when and how this monster is going to lick your taint.
I like your skills in carefully selecting some best spots in your towns which is good....but how comes the moment we get an aerial view of 10 km radius of your Dar it looks ugly, unplanned and underdeveloped......SikuMombasa mkipata complex kama hii msiache ni tag,Millenium tower!!![]()
Lol.....those are your good places .. .nyinyi hata buruburu estate in eastlands sioni sehemu ya dar inaweza pimana nayoIlala Boma Dsm

Ok. Matusi na povu na too much words without evidence from our southern neighbors expected in 1, 2, 3.....

Mombasa port is already bigger than Dar port...its 2017.Mombasa kufkia level ya dar ni 2060 , trust my words
100%.
I just want to point out that slavery doesn't always mean a chain with shackles and also I wasn't speaking of you as an individual but as a people of the republic.
If a local 'mwananchi' doesn't have a fighting chance (Notice I said, "a fighting chance") to own a land in Nairobi then by default he is a slave in his own country. And if that makes you proud then you are more than an oxymoron.
Look! By engineering a system of hiking prices, one can use it as tool to segregate people... strangling them so to speak. Preventing them from moving up the ladder, specifically when you have a hegemony of few cronies running their tentacles siphoning the economy.
And this 'International city' you mentioned and so proud of, it doesn't make any sense at all;
Why don't you roll your own?
You see, we have 'uswahili' culture and you can see it everywhere in Dar; from buildings, tingatinga paintings, food, language, chipsi mayai, makonde sculptures (vinyago) and on and on. This makes Dar rich in culture and tourists come here just to see that in action. If I want to experience a European culture I would go to venice not Nairobi. Think about this; how in the world would any person who wants to experience western culture go in Kenya?
The lack of homegrown culture makes your city like a ship without a rudder and remember this, just like real men don't cuckold so shouldn't a city copy other cities' culture.
Hold your own nuts, Nairobi!

mimi naona Dar na mombasa na eldoret.Hivi wewe huna macho au? Hauoni hizo mombasa na eldoret zinashindanishwa na mwanza. Acha kulazimisha vitu ambavyo havipo.
