One time I posted that cabanas interchange on a WhatsApp group page and 10 people all said must be a great day somewhere in Texas with such little traffic. After I responded that was Kenya… they were all shocked… and Nairobi joined their bucket list of places a must visit…hiyo cabanas haikai Africa….

Cabanas, Museum Hill, Pangani na hizo za Southern Bypass are just world class. Meanwhile, ile Ubungo interchange ndio apparently the best in their country 😆

Now i know why US Embassy staff in Dar prefer Nairobi…imagine working next to that dump while your colleagues in the neighboring country work and live in first world Runda , go shopping at the village market and can stroll around the neighborhood without fear….seriously it’s like day and night… a US marine friend attached to US embassy in Kenya once told me there’s no difference of his lifestyle in Kenya and America and infact Nairobi is better since it has more nature and better weather to offer… I thought it was a joke but if you analyze the situation you realize it’s true…. These guys live in Runda, shop at top notch malls and travel to Maasai Mara for getaways…that’s better quality life than most of America…no wonder Nairobi was voted the best city in the world by expatriates ….Yes we have our problems like several poor suburbia, we don’t deny it like some people but by far we are the most advanced nation in our realm ….
