Already road marking and installation of street lights and drainage channles has begun in the completed sections. Mind you the road starts from Nairobi - Kenol - Marua (140km), making it the longest dual carriageway in East Africa.

Nairobi iko na bypasses nne making a 90km ring around the city. All of them are dual carriage except for the northern bypass which is only 13km. The rest of the ring road (77km) is dual carriage na hiyo northern bypass pia itawekwa dual carriage very soon 🤣

Nimedanganya wapi? The road that strethces from Nairobi to Kenol is the Thika Super Highway na ni 50km. From Kenol to Marua ni 84km. Total distance yote inakuja 134km. Ni nini ngumu kuelewa hapo?

Wewe ni zuzu kweli. Construction ya hio barabara (84km stretch) ilianza December 2020 and expected to be fully completed by December this year. Tulikuwa na handing over of government which led to delay of many projects, sasa hivi kama ingekuwa previous government ingekuwa ilimalizwa kitambo. Alafu hio 140km ni Nairobi - Kenol - Marua. Nairobi to Kenol (50km Thika Super Highway) was already existing, ile iko under construction ni 84km Kenol - Marua. Ukiongeza interchanges na access roads inakuja hiyo 140km. Imagine we will be driving 140km without meeting oncoming traffic 😂. Can never happen in Tanzania.
