I am one Kenyan who was pissed off by these 10,000 sitter stadia under construction in Kenya.
However, I have come to realize the point. Football in East Africa is not that developed due to lack of facilities. So by building such stadia, football will grow at the grassroots, and the stadia will be upgraded.
No need of having one big Kasarani Stadium that when there is a game not even a tenth is filled by fans.

So this is a very good step in the right direction.
As we speak, 27 of such stadia have been completed or under construction in Kenya in the last 4 years.

Ala!!! I had no information about the upgrade as well. The taller tower will now go to how many floors!?

It has already topped out. I counted 25 floors for the taller tower while the shorter one remains unchanged at 21 floors
