The essence of having your own money is to reduce amount and rate of borrowing, remember if you borrow money, you have to pay back with interest, that interest is the money which would be used in the country to improve economy and increase productivity.
Unless you Kenyans get new brains, your country shall never get out from problems that you are facing. Can't you ask yourselves, why your country with all those figures of economy but can't provide free treatment for poor people who suffer from diseases like cancer?, why still Nairobi has got water scarcity, why your big economy still depends on food aid, why unemployment rate keeps on rising, why you can't improve security in the country.
